Printer Drivers for Canon Pro 100 Pixma Premium Fine Art Smooth

Dearest Pixma Pro 9000 and Canon Premium Fine Art Smooth

Dear Pixma Pro 9000 and Canon Premium Fine Art Smooth

Heroes,

I first set up the 9000 in 2008 and never looked dorsum. Even today, it gives a fine consequence about every time. When an ink spill melted the gear works, I bought a used frame and reset the head and inks and pedalled off again, as the newer models didn't offer a lot new and some photographers preferred the performance of the quondam 9000. I run about of my prints on Pro Platinum simply occasionally run prints on other stock, all of which are addressable on the printer commuter - until recently.

I took delivery of some Premium Fine Art Polish but this newspaper is not listed in the printer driver selections for Media Type.

A phone telephone call to Canon returned the response that the printer is no longer supported and I was free to effigy it out for myself and continue to buy ink for the abandoned technology. Interrogation of the driver choices under Media Type revealed Fine Art Photograph Rag; Fine Art Museum Etching; Fine Art Premium Matte; and Other Fine Art Paper.

Is one or the other of the Fine Fine art selections a friction match for this newspaper? Or is this some other means past which I tin can melody the 9000'south instantiation of images on this paper for maximal fidelity?

Thankest,

Peter

Oh, it is always a hassle isn't it when certain paper is no longer bachelor?

I employ the Canon Pro 10.

I think y'all will take to experiment but I'd start with Canon Premium Matte.  And then if that doesn;'t work well, I'd go to Other Matte Paper.

I bet with a piffling experimenting you will observe a good match.

I'd advise starting w/ Fine Art Rag every bit I believe the Fine Art Smooth is a rag newspaper, not cellulose.

Y'all'll get pretty shut I would think. Exam print a standard image or 2.

If you really want to nail it, consider a custom printer profile but simply if you lot're planning on using a good corporeality of the paper

Overnice. Checked it out just I am enslaved to the 9000.

I remember you will have to experiment but I'd start with Canon Premium Matte. Then if that doesn;'t work well, I'd go to Other Matte Paper.

Cheque and check. I'll cut down the A3+ stock into manageable sizes for experiments.

I bet with a lilliputian experimenting you will find a adept match.

I'g a futzer from Futsylvania now. Was hoping this would be a wait-upward exercise just a little experimentation is never wasted.

Ah! There's an insight to become me started on my experiments. Thanks.

You'll get pretty close I would think. Exam impress a standard image or 2.

Indeed. I can cutting downwards these A3 sheets into a few reasonably sized pieces.

If you really want to nail it, consider a custom printer profile simply only if you're planning on using a practiced amount of the paper

I got 25 A3+ sheets for five bucks from Unique Photo on 1 of their specials and then I guess I'thou committed to learning how to make best use of this stock.

Thankest,

Peter
